About Us

- Abu Harith, Founder and Author -
Abu Harith is an emerging author passionate about crafting engaging, educational stories for children.
Raised in Italy and the United States, Abu Harith discovered his love for storytelling at a young age, writing original short stories that captured his teachers' attention. That passion remained with him throughout his life. He embraced Islam in college and later moved to Saudi Arabia, where he has spent the past decade teaching English. Inspired by his children—his biggest fans—he decided to combine his passion for storytelling with his desire to help children learn about Islam by creating books that introduce fundamental Islamic teachings in a fun, accessible way.
At Abu Harith Publications, our primary goal is to meet the needs of both
English- and Italian-speaking Muslim communities. We believe in fostering a love for learning about Islam from an early age, and our books are designed to nurture young minds while remaining true to authentic Islamic knowledge.

- Nabila Saleh Alkatiri, Illustrator -
Nabila Saleh Alkatiri is a children’s book illustrator based in Indonesia who specializes in illustrating Islamic children’s stories with warm, atmospheric visuals. She is inspired by peaceful, cozy scenes that reflect seasonal moments and gentle lighting, such as the soft glow of golden-hour sunlight, the view of rainy windows, and the warmth of indoor light.
Her illustration style emphasizes warmth and a cinematic feel, using light and color to enhance the narrative. Rather than concentrating solely on detailed scenes, Nabila aims for her illustrations to create a comforting atmosphere that invites young readers to feel, reflect, and connect with the story.
Guided by Islamic values, her work has a simple intention: to create visuals that are calm, kind, and purposeful, allowing stories to be experienced through both the heart and the imagination. She shares her illustrations on Instagram.

- Suhaib l'Italiano, Ask a Sheikh Advisor -
Suhaib L’italiano was raised between Italy and the United States. From a young age, he displayed a strong interest in language, learning, and communication. He later earned a degree in Applied Linguistics in the US, where his academic journey and search for truth took a transformative turn.
In 2006, before beginning his university studies, he embraced Islam after being introduced to its beauty and clarity through close Muslim friends. This moment marked the start of his lifelong commitment to learning, teaching, and sharing Islamic knowledge. Soon after, he began studying Arabic and eventually moved to the Middle East to deepen his studies in Arabic and Islamic sciences.
He went on to study Islamic Jurisprudence at the Islamic University of Madinah, learning from respected scholars and exploring foundational works in creed, worship, and Arabic grammar. By the grace of Allah, he has memorized more than half of the Qur’an and continues seeking knowledge with humility and consistency.
Today, alongside completing a Master’s in Islamic Finance, he dedicates his efforts to translating scholarly works, producing educational content, and creating accessible lessons to help parents nurture strong Islamic foundations in their children.
